Mindtooth Touch Headset
The Mindtooth Touch headset is comprised of two main parts: front and rear part. The two parts are held together with an adjustable elastic band.
Five EEG sensors are found on the front part of the headset, which is designed to fit to the user’s forehead and maximize comfort. All electrode pellets and bases for the sponge electrode holders are embedded in the headset together.
The rear part of the headset contains the ground and reference sensors, three parietal EEG sensors and the ClickOn Amplifier socket. Ground and reference sensors are fitted on the mastoids, allowing the user to wear glasses and headphones while wearing the headset.
The arms on which the electrodes are placed have been designed to adapt to the users head shape and contain an extended rotating piece in order to ensure contact with the scalp.

and hairstyles
Comfortable to wear
Salt-water sponge-based electrodes
Mindtooth ClickOn Amplifier
Connecting the ClickOn Amplifier to the Mindtooth Touch headset is super simple and quick, as you click the amplifier on to the magnetic connectors.
The front of the amplifier has the user-interface, including:
-
- An entry for the micro-USB, used to recharge the ClickOn Amplifier’s. battery
- An ON/OFF push button and three LEDs to display status information.
When the ClickOn Amplifier’s batteries are recharging the LEDs will light up depending on the level of recharge.
- When the battery is charging, all 3 LEDs flash.
- When the battery is full, the flashing stops and the LEDs indicate the following battery conditions:
(i) 3 LEDs are lit: batteries are more than 75% full.
(ii) 2 LEDs are lit: batteries are 50% – 75% full.
(iii) 1 LED is lit: batteries are 25% – 50% full.
(iv) All 3 LEDs are off, only the ON/OFF button is lit: the batteries are less than 25% full and recharging is recommended.

Software
Neurometrics App
The Mindtooth Neurometrics App is a cloud-based Windows® application that runs on the included tablet (Surface Go 3).
With this app, you can record EEG data from the Mindtooth Touch headset, as well as calculate neurometrics for workload, stress and vigilance. The calculations are done in real-time and can be streamed to third-party applications.
The scientifically validated AI algorithms performing the calibration as well as neurometric calculations are hosted on a secure cloud environment. The computed neurometrics are then streamed via web-socket protocol for performant and reliable real-time communication.
The cloud securely stores neurometrics and EEG data and makes it available for immediate access, either via direct download (.csv format) or through online visualization on the report page of the app.

EEG App
The Mindtooth EEG App is a Windows® application that runs on the included tablet (Surface Go 3).
The EEG app allows streaming and the recording of EEG signals from the Mindtooth Touch headset. It handles the connection with the amplifier, some basic configuration (sampling frequency, enabled channels, etc.) management as well as the contact quality (impedances measurement) check
The EEG data are stored locally and can be imported to third-parties based on MATLAB® (i.e. EEGLAB, BCILAB, etc.), Python (MNE, etc.), Tobii Pro Lab, etc. for offline visualization and analysis.
The Mindtooth EEG app also offers straightforward real-time connectivity via LabStreamingLayer (LSL) with other devices, allowing researchers to build a variety of protocols setup using a variety of different tools.
